Certification
CWB Certification
Canadian Welding Bureau Certified
D&D Welding holds CWB certification — the national standard for welding quality assurance in Canada. CWB certification verifies that welding is performed to the process standards required by the applicable code for each environment: structural, pressure-containing, and food-grade applications.
For plant and facility clients: CWB certification is a prerequisite for welding on regulated structural members, pressure-containing components, and food-grade stainless systems. Documentation is available on request.
Workers' Compensation
WCB Nova Scotia
Workers' Compensation Board Clearance
D&D Welding holds an active WCB clearance from the Workers' Compensation Board of Nova Scotia. A current clearance certificate is available on request for plant site entry requirements.
Insurance
Commercial General Liability Insurance
CGL Coverage — Active
D&D Welding maintains commercial general liability (CGL) insurance coverage. Certificate of Insurance is available on request for facility procurement and contractor onboarding requirements.
Safety Training
WHMIS
Current WHMIS certification is maintained. D&D follows all required Safety Data Sheet (SDS) protocols for all welding consumables and materials used on-site.
Food Safety
Food-Grade Compliance
Dedicated Tooling. Full Documentation.
Sanitary and food-grade welding work is performed with dedicated stainless steel tooling — no cross-contamination with carbon steel equipment. All food-grade jobs receive:
- Before and after photography
- Completion certificate referencing weld grade and process
- CWB certification documentation available on request
This documentation is prepared to support CFIA compliance files and internal facility audits.
Tax Registration
HST Registration
D&D Welding is registered for HST (15%) under the Canada Revenue Agency. HST number appears on all invoices as required.
